In the Performance Program, Port Jefferson School of Rock students learn musicianship, teamwork and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment. Our shows each center on a theme, and the students spend time delving into the catalogs of certain artists, styles and periods of rock music. Past shows have featured very well received student perfomances in: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Psychedelic 60's and many many more fun and exciting programs.

All student musicians enrolled in our Performance Program will receive:

• Weekly private music lessons
• Three-hour band rehearsals to prepare for the rock concert
• Enhanced learning in key areas such as stage performance, harmonies, musicianship and more
• Choices of new show themes every season
